This website is dedicated to a project of the 1st MA Engineering Mechanics-Construction of the ULB/VUB Bruface joint program. The assignment is to make a robot capable of playing checkers.


The project is divided to 4 parts:

- A mechanical part: designing the mechanical parts (Gripper,…) in Catia.
- An electrical part which consists of the design of the PCB.
- A software divided into 2 subparts:
o Matlab Code: which consists of image processing and artificial intelligence to compute the different possibilities
o a microcontroller Arduino Code part to control the gripper and
