Roberto Ratigno

In partial fulfilment of the requirements of Dr. Ir. Bram Vanderborght for the course of mechatronica, we had to build a soccer playing robot. For this project, we had to combine almost all our knowledge that we had gathered during the last three and a half beautiful years at the VUB. We also had to learn some new things, like working with Traxmaker and programming in Assembler.

This project cost us a lot of blood, sweat and tears. But after 5 weeks of hard work, many sleepless nights and major injuries, we are proud to present to you our final result. On this site, we proudly present you the one and only ‘Roberto Ratigno’ and explain the structure of his body, the multiple steps we went through, off course all the errors we made (and I can assure you, there were many of them) and also the final result.

We, the designers of ‘Roberto Ratigno’, appreciate your interest in our work and hope that you learned something after you read this site. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to e-mail us, because we love to talk about our work and ‘Roberto Ratigno’.

Enjoy reading,
