Dr. Niels Gadeyne
I received my Extended Master degree ’Business Economics’ from KU Leuven in 2017. During my studies, I studied one semestes abroad at Uni. Stavanger (Norway) and one semester at UZH Zürich (Switzerland). I majored in’personnel & organisation’ with a minor in ’international business’. My master thesis obtained several prices (FEB master thesis award 2015-2016; ADMB Award ’Student HR’ 2016; Persona Price 2017 by VDP BruBra). After my master studies, I obtained a personal FWO SB grant to complete my doctoral studies. As a PhD researcher I worked under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Marijke Verbruggen. In 2022, I successfully obtained my doctoral degree in Business Economics (work & organization studies) with my dissertation "Working in the digital age: 3 papers on ICT-mediated work-nonwork boundary crossings". After completing my PhD, I started working as project manager at R&MM. In this role, I act as liaison between the group and the HR/financial department and several financing sources and am responsible for the planning, allocation and reporting of the research group’s budget, for individual projects as well as for the entire group.
